A Little About Trillium Kennel & Our Puppies...
Miniature Dachshunds, Miniature Doxies, Mini Dachshunds, Mini Doxies
Trillium Kennel is a very small, "hobby" breeding program, located in the
darling, home-town community of La Porte Indiana – just beneath
beautiful Lake Michigan!
We are often asked if Dachshunds make good family pets... As a family of
six, we searched for a breed that would be great with our own children.
Miniature Doxies are a very loyal, loving, and intelligent breed, and we
have found them to be an absolute joy to live with!
As a breeder in good standing with AKC, I have been raising lovely, healthy
puppies since the early 1990's. My husband, children and I raise our
puppies inside our home, with constant family interaction. Each puppy
receives individual attention and care from birth, to ensure they are
imprinted correctly. Lots of love and “hands-on” care are the foundational
building blocks, enabling each of our little ones to become loyal and
confident family companions.
